Poster Tour Presentation
Presentation Length and Structure
The tour presentation is delivered directly from an E-Poster displayed on a large TV screen at a designated “Lounge Station” rather than from a physical board.
Each poster in a tour is typically assigned an 8-minute time slot. The specific breakdown of this time is as follows:
- 3 Minutes: Oral presentation by the poster presenter.
- 2 Minutes: Discussion led by the Poster Tour Lead.
- 3 Minutes: Questions from the audience, facilitated by the Poster Tour Lead.
Format Requirements
- Presenters must submit an electronic file in 16:9 PDF format.
- Multiple slides are allowed for the digital version, with a maximum of 5-slide limit.
- The presenter has control to advance through their slides (e.g., using a provided mouse) during their talk.
Mandatory Dual Presentation
- Authors selected for a poster tour are required to present their work twice on the same day:
- Poster Viewing Session: Presenters will display their posters on the physical poster board, and present their work alongside with other poster presenters within the same track.
- Poster Tour: It is facilitated by the Poster Tour Lead, and the presentation is delivered directly from an E-Poster displayed on a large TV screen.
- Required Materials: Presenters must prepare both a printed poster (A0 landscape size) for the Poster Viewing Session and an electronic version for the Poster Tour.
- In-Person Requirement: All poster tour presenters must attend the conference in person; there is no virtual presentation option for these roles.
- Optional Video: While not mandatory, poster tour presenters are strongly encouraged to submit a 5-minute video presentation (MP4 or MOV format) for the virtual platform
